I feel the need to vent ladies.  My son and I went shopping at a sale yesterday and he was SO excited to ind a really cool Hockey Lego set.  I mean - really excited.  Talked about it all day and couldn't wait to get home to play with it.  You can probably guess where I am going with this - we get home and he opens it and it is MISSING the main piece to make it work.  He was crushed.  This happens very rarely but when it does I just want to scream.  It is not nice.  PLEASE do not sell toys with missing pieces.  Throw them away.  Is it really worth the five dollars you made to know you disappointed a child?  I think not.

Totally agree! I learned my lesson the hard way too. My son saw this music toy that had a monkey or something that danced around when you played the piano. It didn't work but I just thought the batteries were dead (new to consignment at the time). Got it home, replaced batteries and it still didn't work. My son cried. I felt so bad, I went and bought him the same toy brand new. Learned my lesson... I won't buy anything from consignment unless it works when I look at it.
