I am the coordinator for our church coat give away. My best consignment sale find was 75% off of several wonderful winter coats. This allowed us to hand out several coats that we would not have been able to purchase other wise.

My favorite thing I ever found was a stuff fabric globe of the world. I bought it for the child my husband and I were adopting from Russia. We hadn't even brought her home yet. When we traveled to Russia, we brought that globe with us to help her understand where she was coming home to. My daughter is almost 5 years old now and she still has that stuffed globe. We get it out occasionally and re-trace our journey from Russia to home in Tennessee. It cost less than a dollar at that consignment sale, but now has become a priceless piece of my family's history.

I'm new to consignment sales, but last week at I found a FAO Schwarz Golden Retriever rocking horse. I fell in love with it, but decided to wait until the half-price sale to buy it and HOPE it was still there. It was, and I was thrilled. I have a 9 month old little boy who absolutely adores our Golden Retriever. When I brought it into the house, his eyes lit up! The dog wasn't so sure :-) I'm not sure if this purchase was more for me or my son, but so far- it's our best find!

I found a new TALKING & DANCING ELMO for $3.oo that made me the Best Nanny in the world to my precious granddaughter.

I'm also new to consignment sales, but the best thing I have found so far was a baby crib for my sister. She can't afford too much for her new baby that is due in April, so I have been helping out. She was so excited and it was exactly what she had been looking for. I am also finding so many other GREAT baby items for my new nephew. I can't wait for him to get here!

One of the best deals I got at a consignment sale in Bellevue, was a black baby grand piano and stool for $12.00. Also at this sale was a Dutilier glider rocker for $35.00, in great shape. Unfortunately, this sale doesn't take place anymore.

One of the best things recently that I have found is Ralph Lauren Polo shirts for $3.00 that look brand new and usually go for around $40/each in the store!! Also I found a really cute pair of "puddle jumpers" that were brown with pink polka dots for $6.00 when brand new they are around $30.00!!

Last Fall I found a Burberry sleeper, size 6 mos. for my sister's new baby. It didn't have tags still on but looked brand new - I paid 10 dollars the morning it went 1/2 price. I had gone home and looked it up online it retailed for 75-100dollars. I went back that morning for that one item and it was still there! I gave it to them for Baby's first Christmas!

Since I'm still new to consignment sales, I am not as experienced, but so far, the best thing I have found has been a "My daddy loves me shirt." My daughter was so adorable in it, and now daddy loves for her to wear it whenever they go on daddy-daughter dates!

I have an eight month old and am also new to consignments. Last week I found some absolutely adorable bubbles for my little girl for $5 each that look brand new.

I found a Fisher Price Bird Mobile that my mother tried to get for me before our daughter was born. We found out that they no longer sold it. I found it for a great price at one of the sales! It was neat for my mom to watch my daughter with it!

I have been shopping consignment for years, as our kids are 15, 13 and 5. My best consignment find happens twice each year when I come out of a sale with my kids' entire wardrobes for the coming season, having only spent about $150.

I love to find bargains and resell them on ebay or get them for my grandchildren. I found a precious Kelly's Kids shorts set for $6 and sold it for $26 on ebay!

What a hard question b/c we have found so many great deals at these consignment sales! We go to most of them in the Nashville area, and by far, Otter Creek has the best. My mom goes to church at OC and I'm not just saying its our favorite b/c of that. The quality of the items is so much better than that of other sales, as well as the prices, and there is more to choose from at OC consignment sale.
My best consignment sale find was last year was at the OC 1/2 price sale. I bought my 4 year old son's entire wardrobe for the fall/winter for just under $60. I was shocked when they told me the total! Literally, my mouth dropped open. I am very picky with what he wears so seeing I got so much and so many name brand items and then hearing the total, I just about heard the angels singing "Hallelujah!"

Several gorgeous high end dresses for grandaughters that still had the original tags on them at 70% off the original price.
